Sarah Goodwin is DeafBlind and uses Protactile language as a communication mode. In 2018, she was a student at Tactile Communication, LLC for six weeks. Sarah is an adjunct instructor at Lone Star (community) College in Texas, where she also teaches a course called "Working with DeafBlind Persons". She is a doctoral student at Lamar University, working on a doctorate degree [PhD?] in Deaf Studies/Deaf Education.
